In recognition of breast cancer awareness this October, the Polk County Health Center hopes to raise awareness of a program designed to empower women to prioritize their health. Through the Show Me Healthy Women program, the center provides free initial care for breast and cervical cancers which are aimed at improving health outcomes and reducing the risks of cancer through early detection. more
