They are inviting veterans in their PCCS families as well as other veterans in the community to join them on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 9 a.m. This will be a time of celebration, as well as a time to remind students and guests about the importance of our veterans. more

Humansville Schools invite the community's veterans and active military to attend a Veterans Day Assembly at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10. CMH Hospice's annual holiday fundraiser honors the lives of loved ones more

Even though it was a cool, crisp evening on Oct. 14, 400 people showed up and made the fundraiser event for Eden Kallberg a success. The auction proceeds and donations brought the total amount raised to over $50,000. Josh Kinney, former St. Louis Cardinal player who pitched in the 2006 World Series, showed up and helped auction a signed Stan Musial baseball.. more

What began as giving out a single bag of groceries and no gift bags to families in need in 1985, the program has grown into an abundance of gifts for every child as well as gift bags for adults and groceries for the families. more

Bolivar Liberator soccer entered their game against Kickapoo on Thursday, Oct. 19, looking to improve upon their 13-6 record so far. The effort and teamwork all year long have been the focal point of this squad. The captains on the team have helped improve their teammates and show them the success that comes with working together. more

Berean Baptist Church, 4450 Scenic Ave., Bolivar, is hosting a free community-wide Trunk-Or-Treat event coming up on Sunday, Oct. 29, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Trunk-Or-Treat will feature lots of family friendly games, inflatables (bounce houses and inflatable jousting), snacks, hot apple cider and hot chocolate, and of course, plenty of candy.
