The demolition of the blighted and abandoned house on South Clark Avenue, immediately south of Girl Scout Park, was a project several years in the making. A crew from DCBC, LLC, in Bolivar volunteered to work with the City of Bolivar Public Works team to tear down the city-owned building on Thursday, Sept. 7. Within just a few hours, the crews had the dangerous building torn down. The City is working with Friends of Bolivar Parks on future plans for the site.
