Brighton Saddle Club hosts Awards & Elections Meeting

Brighton Saddle Club will hold their annual Awards & Elections Meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, at Smith’s Restaurant.

All are welcome to attend and are encouraged to bring their good ideas and attitudes to prepare for the upcoming 2023 show season. Officers and board members will be elected, and Show Committee(s) for Point Shows and Ranch Horse Shows will also be appointed.

High-Point Awards will be awarded for the following winners:

Ranch Horse Show Winners:

• 1st Novice: Shelby Huston riding Lena Golden Rose
• 2nd Novice: Michaela Winslow riding Ghost
• 1st Walk-Trot: Grevyn Phillips riding Remi

Point Show Winners:

• 1st 10-15 All-Around: Darly O’Connor riding Kissing Kate
• 2nd 10-15 All-Around: Aveline Corletta riding Chev
• High-Point Speed: Mesa Wisdom riding Ambers Diamond Watch
• 1st 16-49: Dawn O’Connor riding Shaky Witness
• 2nd 16-49: Kian O’Connor riding Doc
• High Point 50 & Over: Christy Whitlock riding Cloud

The event will feature door prizes. Attendees who arrive early can join the group for dinner.
