Crash Near Fair Play Injures Man

A man was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck on MO 123, approximately 1 mile south of Fair Play, at
around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Justin R. Keene, 35, of Butler, was
northbound on MO 123, in a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado when he crossed the center line and
struck a southbound 2015 Peterbilt, driven by Clark Bell, 57, of Bolivar.

Keene, who the report said was wearing a seat belt, suffered serious injuries. He was transported
from the scene to Nevada Regional Medical Center.

The report did not list injuries for Bell. He was also wearing a seat belt, per the report.

Keene’s vehicle was totaled, the report stated, and towed from the scene by Nelson's Towing of
Fair Play.

The crash report also states that Bell’s vehicle suffered extensive damage and was towed by A&J
Towing of Bolivar.
