A Fair Play man was injured in a single-car crash in Cedar County at around 12:17 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Dewey M. Rumfelt, 62, was eastbound on Mo. 32, three miles east of Fair Play, in a 1967 Chevrolet Impala when he lost control on the wet road, traveled off the roadway and struck a fence.
The report stated Rumfelt, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries and was transported via ambulance to CMH in Bolivar.
The Chevrolet had moderate damage and was towed from the scene by Nelson’s Towing of Fair Play, the report stated.
