Halfway to host upcoming blood drive

On Dec. 6, Halfway High School will host an American Red Cross blood and power red drive. Power red collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and blood platelets to the donor. To be a power red donor, you must have types A-, B-, or O blood and meet certain criteria. If you are interested in donating, visit the American Red Cross website at https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/donation-time and select an appointment time and type of donation you want to give.
