Two people from Goodson were hurt in a single-vehicle crash near the town of Polk at 3:25 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 2.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Chris A. Elliott, 33, was southbound on Rt. D, one mile north of Polk, in a 2007 Chevrolet Uplander when he ran off the roadway on a curve and overturned.
Elliott, who the report said was wearing a seatbelt, had moderate injuries. His passenger, a 6-year-old female, had serious injuries and was also wearing a seatbelt.
Both occupants of the vehicle were transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, the report stated.
The vehicle was totaled and towed by B&B Wrecker of Bolivar, per the report.
Trooper D. J. Jackson investigated the wreck.
