Man hurt in crash north of Bolivar

A 55-year-old man from Osceola was was hurt in a two-car collision at 5:35 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22 near Bolivar.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Tyler J. Hendrich, 33, of Bolivar, was westbound in a 2000 Buick LaSabre on Mo. 13, about five miles north of Bolivar, when he pulled into the path of a southbound 2020 Ford F250, driven by William M. Westmoreland, 55, of Osceola. Westmoreland’s vehicle, then, struck Hendrich’s vehicle.

Westmoreland was wearing a seatbelt, and as the report says, he had moderate injuries. He was transported by ambulance to Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar.

No injuries were listed for Hendrich.

Westmoreland’s Ford had extensive damage and was towed by B&B Wrecker of Bolivar. Hendrich’s LaSabre had minor damage and was driven from the scene.
