Opportunities for Drones in Missouri Agriculture May 1st in Mt. Vernon

Join MU Extension specialists for a full day of discussion and hands-on training over using drones in Missouri agriculture. Through the duration of the program, they will cover the various kinds of drones currently being used in agricultural settings and what is required of remote pilots to utilize these technologies. The team will introduce many capabilities of small drones and large utility drones commonly used for spraying or spreading materials, as well as giving examples of how these technologies can be utilized by entrepreneurs in their business models. The workshop will be held at MU Southwest Research, Extension & Education Center, 14548 HWY H, Mt. Vernon, starting at 9 a.m. and the program will adjourn at 5 p.m.
