Retired teachers to meet Thursday

The Polk County Retired Teachers Association and Public School Personnel, a unit of Missouri Retired Teachers Association, will hold its first meeting of the new school year this Thursday, Sept. 19. The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Polk County Genealogy Library on the southeast corner of the square in Bolivar. The meeting is open to any retired teacher and non-certified staff living in Polk County. One does not have to have retired from a Polk County school to attend. Newly retired personnel are encouraged to attend.
