Don Shire, internationally known trumpeter and recording artist, will be in concert at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, at Rondo Baptist Church. The church is located at 910 Rt. V, Flemington.
According to a news release from the church, Shire’s music is heard on many Christian radio stations in the U.S. and around the world. His concert tours and mission outreach have taken him to 34 countries worldwide. He shares stories from his travels, including trips to play his trumpet for primitive tribes living in the bush of Africa and the rain forests of South America. Shire has established several orphanages in India, Haiti and Honduras, as well as several group homes for widows in India, the release stated.
The public is welcome to attend. Tickets are not necessary. There will be no charge at the door, but an offering will be taken to support his ministry.
