Two people from Louisburg were hurt in a recent single-vehicle wreck near Bolivar at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Robert P. Manyen, 65, was westbound in a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer on Mo. 32, 5 miles east of Bolivar, when he ran off the roadway and overturned.
Manyen, who the report said was wearing a seatbelt, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Citizens Memorial Hospital by EMS.
His passenger, Rosa M. Manyen, 70, who was also wearing a seatbelt, had serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by EMS, the report said.
The vehicle was totaled and towed by B&B Wrecker, per the report.
