The Liberators took on West Plains for their last regular game of the season, falling 49-7 to the Zizzers Friday, Oct. 22.
When West Plains finished the first quarter 28-0 and then the second quarter 49-0, the Liberators couldn’t seem to catch up.
Bolivar fought hard throughout the game, catching tight passes and swatting down some of its opponents’ passes. The Liberators also amped up their defensive line — not letting the Zizzers score anything else for the rest of the game.
The third quarter came and went, and neither team seemed to make it past the end zone.
After much push and pull in the last quarter of the game, Liberator EJ Ingram barreled through a row of Zizzers and scored the only touchdown for Bolivar.
Being the only team to score in the second half of the game, Bolivar made sure to finish its regular season strong.
