Humansville’s 75th Fall Festival

The town of Humansville kicked off their annual Fall Festival on Tuesday, Sept. 13, and the festivities will continue until the evening of Saturday, Sept. 17 on Human St.

Locals are celebrating 150 years of their hometown with the theme “Happy birthday, Humansville.”

Showcasing a variety of activities, the festival will include carnival rides, exhibits, contests, and vendors.

The carnival and games will be provided by Carnie King Entertainment. Carnival tickets are available for $20, which provides the attendee with one wristband for a one-time use on any day of the event.

Tickets can be purchased at various businesses in Humansville, including Britches and Broomsticks, Tina’s Odds ‘N Ends Thrift Store, and other locations.

The schedule of events for the next few days includes a diverse lineup of talent and entertainment:

Wednesday, Sept. 14
5 p.m.-8 p.m.: Enter exhibits, except floriculture (Community Building)

Thursday, Sept. 15
8 a.m.-2 p.m.:Vendors set-up
9 a.m.-12 p.m.: Enter exhibits (Community Building)
12 p.m.-3:30 p.m.: Exhibits judged (Community Building closes to the public)
4 p.m.: Cake walk (Bandstand)
5 p.m.: Little Mr. and Little Miss Humansville (Bandstand)
6:30 p.m.: Rising Sun Taekwondo demo
7 p.m.-11 p.m.: Bill Hudgens Street Dance


Friday, Sept. 16
9 a.m.-11 a.m.: Enter floriculture exhibits (Community Building)
11 a.m.-12 p.m.: Floriculture exhibits judged (Community Building closes to the public)
12:30 p.m.: Community Building reopens to the public
4:30 p.m.-5p.m.: Talent show sign-up
5 p.m.: Humansville’s Got Talent
6 p.m.: 2022 Beard Competition
7 p.m.: Miss Humansville crowning (voted by school)
7 p.m.-11 p.m.: City Girls Band

Saturday Sept. 17
10 a.m.: Baby contest (Bandstand)
10:30 a.m.: Horseshoes sign-in (Dimmitt Park)
11 a.m.: Bike & Pet Parade (Bandstand)
12 p.m.: Parade line-up (School)
1 p.m.: Parade begins
2:30 p.m.: Cake walk (Bandstand)
3 p.m.-6 p.m.: Brian Pitts (Bandstand)
6 p.m.: FFA Pie Auction (Dimmitt Park)
7 p.m.- 11 p.m.: The Back Forty Band, featuring Travis Scott
