Nashville recording artists Karli & James will share their distinct blend of pure country music and indie rock at the Bolivar Rotary Club’s 46th annual Celebration of Freedom on Saturday, July 4, on the Southwest Baptist University campus in Bolivar. The community event begins at 5:30 p.m. and continues through fireworks at dusk.
Karli Chayne is a Bolivar native who moved to Nashville at 15 to pursue a full-time music career. Karli’s rich, emotive soprano voice and passion for songwriting took root from her early days performing in her parents’ Truman Lake Opry show. James Sinclair-Stott is a United Kingdom-based musician with an indie rock influence and knack for creating radio-ready hits.
“Karli & James will bring great energy to this year’s Celebration of Freedom as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence,” said Krista Banks, president-elect of the Bolivar Rotary Club. “Welcoming Karli back as a celebrated artist makes this year’s Independence Day celebration even more special.”
