Last week for Light the Park

Bolivar Area Chamber of Commerce is finishing up its 19th annual Light the Park event at the Dunnegan Memorial Park.

Area residents can drive through the park from 6 to 9 p.m. every evening through Friday, Dec. 30 to view the Christmas light displays and to donate to local not-for-profit organizations.

The following list features the final days of the event, including the donation collectors and the organizations that will benefit from the donations:

• Saturday, Dec. 24: Boy Scouts of America Troop 45
• Sunday, Dec. 25: Bolivar Recreation Center for Bolivar Rec. Youth Sports Program
• Monday, Dec. 26: Missouri Beef Days for Polk County Cattlemen’s Association
• Tuesday, Dec. 27: Alpha House Pregnancy Resource Center
• Wednesday, Dec. 28: Disabled American Veterans
• Thursday, Dec. 29: MACO Properties for OACAC
• Friday, Dec. 30: Parkview Healthcare Facility for Parkview Residents Special Projects Fund
