A man was injured in a recent single-vehicle wreck at 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 4 near Brighton.
The MSHP crash report states that Brian S. Coffey, 48, of Leavenworth, Kansas, was southbound on a 2010 Harley Davidson on Mo. 13, one mile south of Brighton, when he lost control and overturned.
Coffey was ejected from the motorcycle. According to the report, he had serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Cox Hospital in Springfield.
The motorcycle had moderate damage and was towed by A and J Towing, per the report.
