McDonald’s of Bolivar is hosting a fundraiser to help raise funds to go toward Bolivar Police Department’s Shop with a Cop event at 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
Community members can participate by simply visiting McDonald’s and purchasing their favorite menu items. McDonald’s will donate a portion of the proceeds during that time frame to support the event.
“We are so grateful for our local law enforcement, especially for their participation in the Shop with a Cop event that puts smiles on the faces of so many local children,” said McDonald’s of Bolivar owner/operator Ryan Blumenstock.
This program allows schools within Polk County to select low-income children grades K-3 to be a part of Shop with a Cop. Those children, who otherwise might not have a Christmas, will get to shop with a local officer and purchase gifts and needed items for themselves and/or family members.
