It’s time to shine a spotlight on the businesses that make Polk County a great place to live, shop, and thrive. Nominations are now open for the 2025 Polk County Readers’ Choice Awards, hosted by the Bolivar Herald Free Press.
Throughout the month of May, residents are invited to nominate their favorite local businesses in a variety of categories—from restaurants and retailers to professional services and community organizations.
To submit a nomination, simply visit bolivarmonews.com on a desktop computer and click on the Readers’ Choice logo. Nominations must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on May 30. Late entries will not be accepted.
After nominations close, the voting phase begins. From June 1 through June 30, the community can vote online once per day for their favorites in each category.
Winners will be revealed in the 2025 Polk County Readers’ Choice Awards special section, scheduled for release on July 16.
This is a chance to recognize the hard work, dedication, and excellence of local businesses and service providers across the county. Whether it's your go-to coffee shop, trusted mechanic, or favorite boutique, your vote helps highlight the best of Polk County.
