Bolivar Volleyball hosted the ninth annual Pink Out volleyball game and silent auction on Thursday, Oct. 1. All proceeds from the auction went to the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center in Bolivar. Attendants were encouraged to wear pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Liberator Volleyball is currently 6-17-3 and looking to make a push before district competition starts on Tuesday, Oct. 20. They took on Carl Junction on Thursday night, giving them a strong opponent and an opportunity to prepare for district play.

Bolivar won the first set after being down 23-20, coming back and winning 26-24. Carl-Junction came back hot and won the next three sets, winning 25-19, 25-21, and 25-16 and taking the match.

The Liberators continued their stretch of tough competition with a loss at home to Logan-Rogersville on Monday, Oct. 5. They will travel to Branson on Thursday, Oct. 8, closing in on the end of the regular season
