Informational Community Meeting will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at the Polk County Cares Community Center, 404 W. South Street, Bolivar.
Beginning winter 2022, Polk County Cares will be starting a warming center for men during extreme temperatures to provide a warm place for individuals in need in the Polk county area. The warming center will be open Dec. 1 through March 31, 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. Open any night the temperature is below 32 degrees, as volunteers are available.
