Stepping up to the plate

The Lady Liberator softball team took on Parkview on Tuesday, Sept. 6. After several walks and the bases loaded, Kacee Jenkins had a hit that nearly went out of the park and drove in more runs.

“The girls did a great job last night. It is one of the cleanest games we have played all year,” said Coach Kenyon Breedlove.

Breedlove went on to say that they had great at bats and limited themselves to one error in the field. That combination made this game a great step in the right direction for the team.

Breedlove went on to say, “We need to continue to grow every single game, and I believe we are doing so.”

The Lady Liberators traveled to West Plains, Thursday, Sept. 8. They battled the Lady Zizzers who are undefeated in the conference, losing 1-7. The week of Sept. 12 is a busy schedule for the girls with games at Morrisville on Tuesday, Sept. 13, and Camdenton on Thursday, Sept. 15. Then Friday, Sept. 16 and Saturday, Sept. 17 will take them to Branson for the Branson Tournament.
