Three juveniles were injured in a single-vehicle crash on 60th Road in Polk County at around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a 16-year-old male, of Goodson, was southbound on 60th Road, north of 453rd Road about seven miles west of Bolivar, in a 2008 Chevrolet HHR when he lost control of the vehicle and ran off the left side of the road, striking a
fence, overturning, and striking another fence.
The report stated that the driver had moderate injuries and was transported by EMS to Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar.
A 14-year-old passenger, of Bolivar, also had moderate injuries, the report said. He was transported by personal vehicle to Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar.
The crash report also said that a 15-year-old male passenger, of Bolivar, had serious injuries and was transported by Cox Air to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
None of the occupants of the vehicle were wearing a seat belt, per the report.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by B&B Wrecker, the report stated.
