Walters to celebrate 50 years of marriage

George and Mary Carroll Walters will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, Thursday, Sept. 15.

They were united in marriage at Glidewell Southern Baptist Church in Springfield.

George was a Bolivar city postal carrier from 1978 to 2008.
