The Polk County University of Missouri Extension will hold a Container and Raised Bed Gardening Workshop on Monday, April 24. The workshop will be held at the Polk County Fairgrounds, 4560 S 100th Rd., Bolivar. It will begin at 6 p.m. and conclude at approximately 8 p.m.

Thursday, March 30, the Missouri Beef Days fashion show had something for everyone. The event was standing room only, models showing area boutiques newest fashions just in time for the May event.

The Polk County Clover Kids met for their March meeting on the evening of Thursday, March 16. The Clover Kids explored chemistry by making ink using Kool-Aid. They made ink stamped prints that they framed with hand embellished creations (frames).
