On Thursday, Dec. 8, the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center was filled with children ready to visit with Santa and make memories celebrating the upcoming Christmas. Santa was available for the children to tell him their wish list and have their picture taken. Donations were accepted and the proceeds went to the Cancer Patients Fund. more
Santa arrived to visit and pose with dogs and cats at the Polk County Humane Society on Saturday, Dec. 10. more
The Keller family adopted their dog Cevin (Luka) from the Polk County Humane Society, or PCHS, on October 7 of this year. He is the family’s seventh pet, and they all live in Camden County. They had been looking for a specific type of dog breed for a while and were happy to drive almost two hours to adopt their precious new family member. more
