The Liberator swim team returned to the pool for competition just over two weeks ago ready to make some waves. After graduating only one senior last year, multiple returning swimmers have big goals this season and are ready to build on experience. Several newcomers are eager to join them. For some, this is their first exposure to competitive swimming. In his 5th year at the helm, Coach Kyle Smith still has the same goals for all his swimmers. “We want them to learn every competitive stroke. We want them to learn about competitive swimming and all it has to offer.” With this in mind, several of these Liberators will look to compete in every available event at least once this season.
