The BHS Liberators started off the season at the Bolivar Invitational Tournament on Monday, April 1. Area teams joined the Liberators on the course with the anticipation of possible bad weather interrupting the tournament. However, other than a little shower mid-morning the day was perfect for golfing. more

The Tri-Lakes Fly Fishers will host their 25th annual Expo of Saturday, April 13, at the Benson Center in Clinton, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission and all programs are free to the public. Nominally priced home-cooked breakfasts and lunches will be available on-site. more

The SBU baseball team finished their four-game series against the Truman State Bulldogs this past Sunday afternoon. The Bearcats secured the series victory, winning three out of the four games, their first four game GLVC series win since 2021. more
