Bolivar, MO Board of Alderman & Liberty Utilities Met Thurs., Oct. 2

In their last two sessions, the Bolivar Board of Aldermen has failed to sign the street light renewal contract between the City of Bolivar and Liberty Utilities, asking to hear from a representative from the company to clarify the details before signing. During a special session on October 2, aldermen got their chance to discuss the contract with Liberty representatives including Jordan Bollinger, Senior Manager of Key Accounts; Chris Schaffer, Senior Manager of Construction Planning; Diana Carter, Director of Legal Services and Charlie Evans, Director of Rates and Regulatory. Two aldermen, Jonathon Moores and Justin Ballard were absent. Each of the aldermen present spoke out in the meeting at least once. Various aldermen relayed messages they had received from their constituents concerning their feelings about Liberty during the meeting.
