A woman was hurt in a single-vehicle wreck at 9:50 a.m. on Monday, June 26 near the town of Polk.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Aletha E. Mooney, 55, of Hermitage was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Impala, eastbound on Rte D about one mile south of Polk, when she ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned.
Mooney, who the report said was wearing a seatbelt, had moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Citizens Memorial Hospital.
Her vehicle was totaled and towed by B and B Wrecker, per the report.
