The American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living gives the awards through its National Quality Award Program for demonstrating high-level performance and quality outcomes to improve the lives of residents and staff in long-term care.

Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation recently accepted a donation for $5,037 from Central Care Cancer Center for patients at the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center at CMH. The gift was made possible from the Food Truck Festival they hosted and coordinated at the Missouri Beef Days Block Party in May.
