Saturday, Dec. 3, Christmas hit the streets of Bolivar. The annual Christmas parade organized by the Bolivar Area Chamber of Commerce took on their second year of having a nighttime parade. Public works crews have been working on a project to update the exterior of City Hall for the past few weeks. In order to prevent water damage to the building’s foundation and basement, they have excavated the dirt around the building and put in new drains and concrete.
