Southwest Baptist University announced the launch of its fully accredited online campus, SBU Worldwide, beginning with the Fall 2023 semester. SBU Worldwide will offer 100% online degree and certificate programs to students around the globe. more

Restore 12:12 Ministries, a faith-based organization devoted to supporting young adults in Polk County, held a ribbon cutting event on Friday, Feb. 10 to celebrate the opening of the ministry’s R&R House, a temporary home for people ages 18-25 who are in need of a stable, affordable living arrangement as they overcome challenges in their lives. more

The parents of Bart Millard were divorced when he was three years old. His mother did not want him. So Millard went to live with his father. He was abusive to him through much of his childhood. As a child, he feared his father would get upset about something and take it out on him. more

Southwest Baptist University and Next Level Solutions are partnering to help address the shortage of technical workers in the Ozarks by offering technical classes at a reduced rate. The partnership decreases the cost of computer science courses at SBU’s new dual-credit program, SBU Academy.  more
